Andrea is one of those remarkable women who somehow manages to do it all. Alongside running a busy acupuncture practice, she balances family life and helps lead her family's thriving honey business.
Despite having built a successful practice through word-of-mouth and outstanding results, Andrea had never developed a true brand identity. In fact, after one unsuccessful attempt using AI-generated branding, she found herself needing a logo quickly after sponsoring an equestrian event.
I first met Andrea as a patient after a back injury, having been referred to her by several people who spoke highly of her work. Three years later, after completing her qualification in Equine Acupuncture, she contacted Snaffle Design to help create a brand that reflected the professionalism, warmth and expertise behind her growing business.
During our discovery process, we explored several visual directions before coming full circle to something already deeply meaningful — the handwritten Wright wordmark used within the family's honey business. Carrying both heritage and emotional significance, it became the foundation of the new identity and created a natural connection between two businesses built on trust, care and family values.
The flowing linework surrounding the wordmark was inspired by the nervous system and the sense of freedom, balance and movement that many people experience after acupuncture. Drawing from my own positive experience with treatment, the forms were designed to feel calm, elegant and restorative. The colour palette, chosen by Andrea herself, completes an identity that feels both professional and deeply personal.
The result is a flexible brand designed to work seamlessly across clothing, vehicles, signage, print and digital applications while remaining unmistakably Andrea.
