Creating a single brand identity for two highly accomplished equestrians working in entirely different disciplines presented a unique challenge.

Fordwich Farm required a cohesive brand capable of representing both the high-performance world of Thoroughbred racing and the precision, elegance, and partnership of Grand Prix dressage. The objective was to create a unified identity that felt authentic to both Andrea Bank and Brett Davey while allowing each side of the business to maintain its own distinct personality.

Rather than forcing two worlds into a single visual direction, the solution was to embrace the contrast. A subtle "his and hers" brand system was developed, using individual colour palettes to distinguish each discipline while remaining connected under one recognisable Fordwich Farm identity. Rich burnt tones were chosen to reflect the energy, power, and competitive nature of racing, while deeper, more refined hues drew inspiration from the balance, harmony, and sophistication of dressage.

At the heart of the brand are two custom horse silhouettes, each carrying significant personal meaning. The dressage silhouette was illustrated from photographs of Roy, Andrea's once-in-a-lifetime Grand Prix stallion, while the racing silhouette was drawn from Kalapour, the Group 1-winning racehorse who played a pivotal role in Brett's training career.

The result is a brand that extends far beyond aesthetics. It captures the individual stories, achievements, and passions behind Fordwich Farm while providing a flexible identity system that works seamlessly across digital platforms, apparel, signage, sponsorship opportunities, and future business growth.

A thoughtful balance of heritage, performance, and personal connection, united within one distinctive brand.
